Membership Eligibility

You are eligible for Air Force Federal Credit Union membership if you are:

• A member of the U.S. Armed Forces, either active or retired (or are a dependent of one) and are eligible by law or regulation to receive benefits for services from military installations
• Military or civilian personnel working at Lackland Air Force Base, Lackland Training Annex (Medina) or Wilford Hall Medical Center
• An employee of a tenant organization (military or civilian) that is headquartered on Lackland Air Force Base, Lackland Training Annex (Medina) or Wilford Hall Medical Center
• An employee of the Federal Aviation Agency, American Red Cross, Lackland Independent School District or any other civilian or military agency working at Lackland Air Force Base, Lackland Training Annex (Medina) or Wilford Hall Medical Center
• An employee of the Sears Customer Care Network located at 1560 Cable Ranch Road, San Antonio, TX 78245.
• An employee of AFNI, inc. at the 1560 Cable Ranch Road location in San Antonio, TX 78245.
• A military officer of a foreign government and are assigned to Lackland Air Force Base, Lackland Training Annex (Medina), Wilford Hall Medical Center or in conjunction with the USAF officer exchange program.
• An officer, faculty member or student at the Defense Language Institute while assigned to Lackland Air Force Base
• Married to a member of this credit union and have not re-married
• Retired from one of the above organizations
• Family Members Welcome! Air Force Federal Credit Union membership is also available to immediate family members (spouse, son, daughter, parent, brother or sister) – regardless of where you live – of active duty or retired military personnel and any of the above organizations.

Membership is also available to immediate family members of any the above organizations.
