Shared Branching — an international credit union cooperative effort to bring your money closer to you!
Air Force FCU has joined the CU Service Centers® Network. This means that you can perform transactions with us—such as deposits, withdrawals, payments and transfers—at any other participating credit union’s branch in the network.* Over 1,200 credit unions nationwide have access to over 4,000 locations in 46 states, Puerto Rico, Japan, South Korea, Italy and Germany. And, these numbers keep growing as more states and credit unions join the Shared Branching Network.
When you are at a participating CU Service Centers location you’ll be conducting business on your Air Force FCU account just like when you are at one of our branches in San Antonio. And, all of your transactions will appear on your Air Force FCU statements just like always.
You need three things to access your account at a CU Service Center location:
1. Our correct name (Air Force Federal Credit Union)
2. Your Air Force FCU account number
3. All transactions require identification—a valid U.S./State, County, Federal or City Government issued picture identification with signature. You will need one of the following forms of ID:
• State issued driver’s license or identification card (temporary extensions are not accepted)
• U.S. Passport
• City, State, County or Federal I.D. card or badge
• U.S. Armed Forces Identification Card or the new Smart Identification card without signature
• Resident Alien Card issued by the INS
Have your three items ready to present to the teller. This will save you time and will help expedite service.
